Versions.
Everything that carries the RIVET name, and where it stands. Only 3.0 is maintained — it gets the fixes and the features. Everything else is listed because some machines, and some people, still need it.
The current app (the 3.x line, sold as "RIVET" on the Store): a native Windows desktop app with a live overview, startup and service control, Windows-settings tweaks, cleanup and an on-device assistant. Every action is previewed before it runs and written to a history you can undo from where it's supported.
3.6.0 — RIVET in ten languages (English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), Italian, Polish, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified), Korean), following your Windows display language; four new themes with layouts of their own (Fluent with Windows 11 Mica, Swiss, Brutalist, Liquid Glass), all meeting WCAG AA contrast and respecting Reduce motion; Windows High Contrast followed automatically. Saved history records stay English for now.
3.5.0 — Checkup with the evidence behind every finding; what the last Windows update changed, with a Restore per item; Windows AI feature switches (Recall, Click to Do, Copilot); Guard and roll back to a date (Pro); profiles; undo after a restart for startup apps and service start types too; optional Admin mode through Windows' own prompt. The focus timer, tasks and XP were removed.
3.4.0 — undo that survives a restart for Windows-settings tweaks, with a conflict check before anything is put back; clearer navigation (Overview, Processes & services, History, Settings); Ask Rivet and the model controls on one screen. 3.3.2 (12 Aug 2026) — fixed History closing the app on machines with a duplicated startup entry.

Still available for anyone who wants something portable, or is on a machine where the Store isn't an option.

RIVET 1.x and 2.0 are archived and no longer distributed. If you're running one, install 3.0 from the Store — or 2.1 if you need something portable. Nothing before 2.1 receives fixes of any kind, and archived builds are not re-signed.
